It is with mixed emotions that I inform you that I have retired from practicing dentistry.  While I am excited to spend more of my energy on teaching and writing, 

Many of you may know that I have been searching for a dentist to take over my practice for some time.  The great news is that I have finally found a truly wonderful and unique dentist named Dr Pascal Nguyen to take over your dental care.  Dr. Nguyen is a soft spoken, kind, thoughtful and gentle man.  He cares deeply about his patients dental and whole-body health.  To that end he has established rigorous treatment protocols that incorporate the latest technologies to complement the treatments that you have received in my office.  

He is my new dentist, and I recently experienced him restoring two cavities in my mouth.  Yes, even dentists get cavities!  Dr. Nguyen uses a computer assisted device to control the rate of flow of anesthesia to below the patients pain threshold.  I found my anesthesia to be absolutely pain free using this device.  He cleaned out my tooth decay with a combination of dental drills and a pulsed laser and later disinfected my cavities with ozone gas. 

Dr. Nguyen has completed many occlusion courses including both my Occlusion 101 and 201 courses.  I am currently mentoring him in all aspects of comprehensive occlusal treatment.  He is the protégé I have dreamed of!  

I have arranged for Dr. Nguyen to assume custody of my patient’s dental records.  If you wish you may schedule a new patient visit with him or contact his office to have your records transferred to a different dentist.
